This owner is loving his. First EV & first MINI and very happy with it! Wish I could get started customizing it, but now is not the time.

 

Just wondering what the service requirements are.

Rotate tires, check brakes pads, cabin air filter? Oil the door hinges?

How will dealers make any ongoing money off these? $300 wiper blades?

 

They won't. That's why the dealership model for EV's is broken. 3.5 years with my Focus Electric... ending lease in a few months and it had never seen the dealership. First scheduled maintenance according to its' paperwork is 230,000km for a coolant flush. Rotating tires at 10,000k kms and inspecting brakes (barley used in 88,000km).

I don't know what the SE's maintenance looks like yet.
