How much of an HP gain is there from your intake?

Site looks great; I'll add it to my list of favorite MINI aftermarket vendors. It's been interesting watching you go from a typical consumer saying "This costs way too much for what it is", to a full-fledged business. Kinda like watching a bird hatch from its egg.

Best of luck to you, and keep up the good work.

James

on a serious note, do u have a warranty, return policy, billing, and all that stuff like a real professional compnay like mini-madness and bmp...? or would it be through our place of purchase?

To answer some question:

How much HP

Randy at Mini Motorsprot Dyno'd it and got 6-7 HP with it.

warranty, return policy, billing, and all that stuff:

Warranty is one year. Returns and billing are through the retailers.
(Mini-Motorsport.com, and OutMotoring.com)

Thanks for the Compliments Mister_S

Great job, MiniPilo!! The site looks good!!

Perhaps you could add a description of the intake on the products page (it utilizes the green filter, it only fits the Cooper S, and has a one year warranty, etc.)

Also, the black text does not stand out well against the grey background. White or light blue would make it more readable.

Keep up the creative spirit!!

>>MiniPilo, any update on when the intakes will be available?

Along with the Quicksilver Exhaust that I ordered from Randy@Mini-Motorsport, I ordered the Pilo Intake. Randy said the intakes will be ready Tuesday (yesterday) so I expect them early next week just to give it time. It seems like a excellent intake b/c it has the nice design like the Madness intake (which has a history of giving consistent gains of 6-8hp) and it is around $100 less. I will put on the intake first and give a review later on, and then by June I will install the exhaust and review that as well.

Reason I'm asking is that I thought I was on the original list for the first production run. Just excited about getting "The Pilo"

I am already shipping, I ship as soon as I get the info from randy to ship. If you are on his list, give him a call to make sure that he has all your details. I know that he is leaving fo rFlorida soon, so if you want to get it, give him a call. He needs your Billying Info, Shipping Info and Phone Number for it to go out.

Regarding the descriptions, I am going to be doing that when I have time. I have alot going on in my life with the mini, and my graduation for my engineering degree, to my 9-6 job. so I do it as I have time. I also have plans of some more projects also so need to find time to fit them in.

Well tonight is the matrix, so no updates to the site sorry guys!

Put me on that list.....I am tired of tying a tripod to the
headrest and stuffing tshirts to stabilize and then tightening
a belt to hold the digicam...

hahaha.. I will put you on the list.

It works rather well, I did it with a non image stabalzing camera at the furthest point, and it was watchable. Bring it in closer for better results.. get image stabilization for best.

put me on the list for the camera mount. I think that setup is great. I used to try to set-up using a tripod between the 2 seats in the rear and both map pockets.
