resetting the ecu

does anyone know how to completely reset the factory ecu?
i'm talking about resetting the long and short term fuel trims.

You'll get lots of responses telling you how to reset the OBC, but I'm pretty sure the Dr is right:

You need factory tools to reset the ECU. It makes sense since they use factory tools to flash it.

Even the factory tool can't do it. Someone mentioned this and I tried it. They were right. A message came up stating that that function was not supported.

Just sent my ECU to Lucky Dog Garage for a reflash with software revision and power tune.
