In the search for weight reduction ideas in the interest of increased performance, the consensus seems to be the following items:

1) lower weight wheels and tires (best bang for the buck)

2) aftermarket exhaust system (also has benefit of increasing HP)

3) replacement of stock battery with lightweight sealed lead acid (LSA) battery (very inexpensive - only around $70)

Still evaluating which wheel/tire combo to go with, but the point of this post (You were wondering when I'd get to the point, weren't you?) is to request some aftermarket tuner to come up with a simple, lightweight battery bracket (two, actually, one for the MC and one for the MCS). How about it?
