Given the investment, you might also want to Helix's TurboKompressor Kit also. He has rave reviews, and with an item like this, support can be quite important...

Do a search...there a quite a few threads about this. I started one to research the same thing. My quick conclusions were the following;

Alta - Bigger turbo a little laggy. Not my taste for a twin charge as I want quicker spool. Problems with the header cracking. Does not include as much (I/C, injectors etc...) as the other kits.

Helix - Seems like a decent package but as soon as I heard you HAD to have installed there (or at Webb Motorsports I think) I scratched it off my list.

SPI - My HUGEST turn off is that there is no documentation anywhere really. Aside from a blurb on Detroit Tuned i cannot google anything on this kit. Look for the "fireball" members on the forum and PM them. They are helpful with this.

Keep in mind I have emailed, PM'ed and called the different vendors and all were very helpful and professional. My advice would be talk with them and then try contacting some of the fellas that are actually running the various kits and compare their comments. I will most likely go with th SPI for various reasons and then build upon the twin charge kit as my budget grows to convert to straight turbo.

Don't know much but hope that helps..

I ran the SPI twincharge kit for over 10k miles. Never had any problems with there kit. However you will have problems blowing off the throttle body to supercharger pipe. And you will have problems blowing up the stock intercooler couplers. Hence the reason I copletely eliminated all of these problems.

However you shouldn't have these problems at lower boost levels. I was running 28 psi plus daily on 100 octane.
