Hey guys,
Looking forward to receiving mine. Trying to be patient since I ordered it over 2 weeks ago, though.

everyone should buy these!! only 55!! worth every penny.
but i have a question about it.
is it just me..or during higher speeds does it seem like it's at a higher rev? o.O
the response is faster i guess? it just seems like it's louder at higher speeds. i feel like because of the feeling of higher rpms it feels like im wasting more gas. hahah
probably just me. but either way. i love this product.

Not sure I follow you...are you saying that the damper is making your engine run at a higher rpm? I don't see how that could happen.

Sounds like he's saying the RPMs feel louder. Like maybe more sound is being transferred into the cabin?

im not sayin the damper is makin my engine run at a higher rpm. but i think it's wat shinka says. i think more sound from the engine is being transferred into the cabin. engine definitely got a bit louder after installing damper.

i'm not really complaining. but trying to find out the reason why it's louder.
i guess the engine damper's the answer. i kind of like the loud engine noise. feels like i got more power under the hood

My own is set to arrive today or tomorrow, so I'll see if I get a similar effect.

Got it, installed, it works great.
Haven't driven it much yet, but I like it so far. Especially the unintended effect of making 1st gear launches much smoother. I guess I've been fighting engine movement with the clutch for awhile now.
Got a bit more vibration in the cabin, but no noticable increase in engine noise. I'll probably provide a more detailed review once I've driven it for a bit longer.

yeah. i love this product. makes changing gears SO much smoother. (not saying i suck at manual or anything..)
but when first installing the damper it was the same as before. but now it's louder.
maybe it's also cause im puttin more miles on my mini. i only have a little over 4k miles maybe 5k?
still an awesome product. a must get..

I'm definitely enjoying it so far. Yes, definitely easier to shift gears. I feel like it's breathed new life into the car.
