Alta OCC

I'm looking for some help on install position with the Alta OCC. I have an 05 MCS (only one passenger side motor mount, no vibration dampener on that side). The instructions from Alta say to put it inside the cowl (I think that's what it's called) next to the alarm, drill holes in the plastic and route the hoses. I really don't want to go that route and would rather install in front of the motor mount. So my question is, has anyone had an issue with this install location on an 05'/06' with a single passenger side motor mount? Can you post some pics? Thanks in advance

If you have Xenon head lights, there isn't enough room to clear them. If not, then try putting an empty Pepsi can or styrofoam cup in that location and slowly close the bonnet. If nothing goes "crunch" then you should be OK. I installed mine ('05 JCW MCS) in the passenger side cowl, closest to the center line of the car by modifying the Alta bracket and kept it as low as possible so no kinks in the hoses. I still have room to drain it when necessary. No pics at this time, but will try tonight.
just my .02

Yea, I've got the Xenon's.... looks like I'm SOL on that location... I'd love to see some pics, I just don't want a ton of tubes all over the place....

Also, any issue with a stock alarm module that is in that space as well?

I installed it in the cowl on my 05, I think the tubes actually look pretty cool

Thanks

Sweet, thanks guys.... ScottinBend - I think we on the 05's have larger passenger side engine mounts (we don't have any vibration dampeners) the more I read about these CC's, I think we are stuck putting it in the back.

Thanks for everyone's response and for the pics!!!
