Have any of you '02 owners with lot's of performance mods had to get a smog check yet? I'm curious as to what happened, as the first check is required after the 4th year of ownership on a new car.

We live in a "Smog Check 2" area where the requirements are a lot more stringent then the rest of the state, so I'd especially love to hear from Sacramento metro area owners.

Yeah, I thought the SMOG test requirement started in the 6th year after the original in-service date.
