I know any product that the Fireball Team produces is top notch engineered, but isn't a 7700 rpm redline with aftermarket pulley reduction really pushing the limits? Weren't there a few older threads out there that said the valves begin to float past 7400 rpms?

You could be right but each car was flashed according to the mods the owner already had. People with JCW cars had a higher RPM limiter because their pulley is less than 15%. Since mine has a 17% my limiter was set at 7400 RPM. I'm not sure if more boost creates more valve floating but it might.
One of the guys at Fireballed said, they have done 8000RPM on a stock motor and nothing happen, even when beating the sh*t out of the car. I can't wait for my Head and Cam from them later this month. They are guessing 30whp more than what I have. So that should put me around 225whp. I might have to get an LSD if the power becomes a problems. Mario
It appears that this is somehow being done without the use of a dyno which is find rather amusing as Tuls has always been a big proponent of that tool . Is there any real before and after numbers anywhere or does it just feel good ?
Tuls? You there ,dude? Is FBR planning on being at MOTD07? I will wait to get my ECU flashed until then if you are. Please respond. Thanks.

LOL I am here.... I am writing you from the magical world of impossible cars... I am not sure of the FBR status for the dragon.... but I will see what I can work out for flashing...
that's soemthing I do not have the answer to at this time... I think for group flashes or "ECU days" that will be a pretty good range to expect it in...
Tuls, you're gonna be doing flashes at AMVIV, right?
I'll be happy to take people for a ride in my car to show them how it makes a lightly modded MCS react.
I have heard nothing but good things about the Fireballed! upgrade by people who have actually done it. I talked to "Steve the Brit" from MOALA last night and he is very happy with the way his MINI runs since getting Fireballed!
I took Paula (the SCMC treasurer) for a ride just after I got back from having Alice Fireballed and she wants to get her car Fireballed too. At AMVIV if not before.
