Drivetrain whats the difference between these two headers (see pic)
are these two different headers or are these the same ?
i am confused now, because there is a slight difference in the pictures above.
the pictures in the first post are the same header,
the picture in the second post is a pic from www.piloracing.com, the official makers of the header.....
i would like too buy one but there are no dynos available or anything....
is this a good header PILO MEGAN RACING HEADER with high flow cat,
has anyone fitted the header,
experiences pls ?

Port shapes are different. Of the 2 I'd choose the first one for that reason alone. The tubing is also run differently.
The Pilo unit does not have a cat, that is a resonator from what I've read.

The first header is a Megan Racing (with ports that match the head and gasket), the second header is the Pilo header with circular ports that suck (they tend to leave very little for the gasket to cover when installed and tend to leak.)
cheers,

It's not a CAT, but a very small resonator. Adds a bit of rice...
I understand the Cooper head exhaust ports and bolt pattern are the same as Cooper S, so go for it!

be aware that without a CAT you will throw SES lights. There are solutions, some of which are legal (federal law prohibits anyone from tampering with any emissions system in a car) and others that place you on the other side of these laws. If you choose the latter I'd suggest searching for o2simulator.com
