Mandrel bends for one-ball exhaust?

I am still on my way of getting one-ball exhaust done.
i did get a recommendation for a shop before and I 've checked them out.
But just curious.
what size (diameter, length, gauge, etc..) of mandrel bend should be used?
I've looked around for some pictures of the setup and figured the pipe seems to be a 90deg. mandrel bend pipe or close to that.

$125 for a pipe is a bit excessive when you can get lots of other bends for less than half of that price..

It's really a compound bend..

yes, it's 90 degrees, but the the two pipes lie in different planes. Also, I think one goes from 2.25 to 2.5 inches....

See the before pic to see the over up and in bend that needs to take place. It is hard to tell in the after pic

The shop that did mine

made it by cutting up bends from old exhausts and welding them together. Came out with a nice compound curve. A good guy with a welder is a good guy to know....

grrrr making things more complicated..
I guess i will check out my local midas soon..
thank you guys..

oh and one more question, is there a tip that can replace the stocky?
specifically a DTM kind.. I'm doubting there will be one for direct fit so welding is the only answer eh?
