Who out there has a Mini-mania header with cat throwing 0420 codes?

Does anyone out there have a mini-mania header from 2003 that has thrown a 0420 code? I am about to install one and am concerned that this throw the code. Do any of you know why it threw the code?

P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

I have a Milltek header doing the same thing.
So far, its happened three times after about a year of the installation.
I just clear it with my OBDII reader/scanner.

I've heard the mania header code issues were due to a bad cat attached to the header. does the mania header you have come with the cat? People that have welded the stock cat to the mania header have had good results with no O2 sensor codes.
