Wanted-OPINIONS- 1st & 2nd gear- Twincharge vs. typical 19% setup
Hello all,
Wanted to get your opinions, thanks in advance... re an '05MCS
In relatively lower speed applications, say 1st & 2nd (occasional 3rd) gear - (ie typical autocrosses, or stoplight-to-stoplight drags) Is there any real difference between a fairly "complete 19% setup" including, say, 19%, intake, full exhaust, injectors, programming) and a Twincharge setup?
This is a general question, I realize, but it seems that even without a sc reduction pulley, there's almost more than the car can handle in 1st... wondering if primarily 2nd gear applications (again, ie: auto-x) can really utilize, or put to the road, the extra power a Twincharge setup makes versus a well setup 19% car? Or does it really take higher speed applications to see any real benefit???
Appreciate eveyone's 2¢ - thanks!!!

I just put a 19% pully and GIAC program flash on my car (04 JCW including air box and injectors).
The difference at low rpms is where it's at! Taking off, as well as in 2nd and 3rd, you get a lot more power early on.
This was well worth the money; I can't believe I didn't do it sooner!
