With the knowledge we have gained whilst modifying the New Mini & Cooper the early signs are that we will be soon offering a kit producing 240+bhp!

That's very odd. On their web site, the only capitalize the M of MINI for the new MINI and yet they cap all letters for the old Mini. I think they're very confused over there. They also add an annoying slash "/" between MINI and Cooper.

Bad form. Bad form, indeed.

p.s. IMHO, 240 bhp for the MC, without a tranny upgrade is insane.

Call me a cynic, but when your MCS advertisement shows a Cooper and not an S, I have to question if it's just marketing hullabalu.

And yes Dom, the Mini vs MINI for a company that supposedly sells to both old and new shouldn't be a point of confusion. Either they are just full of it and have no idea what is going on, or they have one hell of a bad marketing department.

And the 240hp kit is for the S, not the Cooper:

New Mini Cooper S Tuning Kit
Development is well underway to produce a mind-blowing performance tuning kit for this already powerful Mini.

With the knowledge we have gained whilst modifying the New Mini & Cooper the early signs are that we will be soon offering a kit producing 240+bhp!

I just wonder what happened to their 200hp Kit that they were advertising for so long?? Did they give that up once other companies got to 200 before they did and are now chasing 240? Then they also advertise a 220+ kit on a different page on their site....I think this company is very confused.

I could be wrong, but I think that is how they are distinguishing between the One and the Cooper.

Fist thing I noticed was the pic of a Cooper in the section about the S as well. Very Odd.

There was a post about this on MINI2 the other day. They said over there that this is a scam and will probably be marketed at only 217 hp when it actually comes out. Sorry!
