Good mileage for doing mods?

Is there a particularly good mileage for adding mods (ie pulley, intake, etc) on a MINI?

For example, would it be a bad thing to do before the initial break-in period is over?

being some of us had done the pulley mod after only 10 miles.. and now have over 50,000. um im going to say no particural milages needed. just depends on how you treated it after the mods.

I'd say wait until after the break-in is over so that you aren't to tempted to completely floor it straight off the lot. And I'd reccomend to mods one or two at a time so you can feel how each one effects the car.
