415whp

Yesterday morning I pulled 415whp and 390ft lb with a 50 shot of nitrous on top of 27psi. Look tonight for a dyno plot.

How heavy is your scatter shield?
Are you using using stock driveshafts?

Impressive results

Wooohooo! Congrats, Spillman! Now, don't you think it's far past time that you leave behind the eighth and run the quarter mile? . Have you had any other troubles setting this evolution of your car up? How does it feel? What are you doing for software, with the turbo and nitrous? Stock timing? AFC? Can you post the dyno? I could use some excitment today, being as how I'll be studying all day [that seems like everyday, come to think of it, but I digress]!

Also, can you get some videos of your car in action? Take care!

Scatter shield? For what...

Nice numbers i really do hope this car is not a daily driver since i cant see it getting any traction, ever Slight details on the car? These are strong numbers for any motor. Ive grown tired of sub 200WHP cars so looks like im getting another Silvia or Skyline.

Usually to keep fast moving fragments of what was once engine or drivetrain components from maiming you.
At 100+ HP per .4 liter of displacement this has some potential for the "Bang and Leak" scenario.

Cool stuff though

Usually to protect the family jewels. Quarter inch plate or kevlar blanket is pretty much common sense when pushing much more than 2 hp/cu in.

Sorry guys didn't get a chance to scan the chart at work today. However I can answer some questions. I do spin through third gear. However I can (hapened today) pull R6's third through fifth.

This car IS a daily driver. I don't ride around spraying the car and I am not at full boost all the time. I get on it every now and then. I can see that it is some stress on the motor but I have yet to run into any problems.

SpiderX I will be at the dragon.

Safety first. Might be good not to be too close watching if a clutch or flywheel decides to break up during a run. Ouch.

I think you left out a couple more screeches. I get 1.5 screeches out of my stock JCW on the runflats. 415 whp has to be worth at least 4 screeches (new unit of power?)

That unit would probably best be derived in terms of volume smoke . Ahh, the smell of burned rubber.

Well i had a clutch explode on me in top of 4th going down the 1/4 mile in a 400HP nissan Silvia.
Yeah it was an interesting run and was scary enough. It turned a 3" stainless 321 round downpipe into a 1/2 " thick piece of metal, Frame on one side got banged down. Here wait let me find pics :D

Honnestly yeah Scatter shield is a good idea. Im guessing the tranny is on the driver side too None the less strong numbers. I just cant imagine driving a mini thats FWD, traction challenged STOCK with as much HP as a silvia needed to run 120MPH traps was a disaster as it was on 255 wide street tires with RWD and i cant imagine your car....
VIDEOS PLEASE :D and dont do any of those we cant see the speedo or RPM gauge videos. I wanna see how fast that thing is :D
congrats again

Scatter shield sounds better all of a sudden
and YEAH
that WAS a big boom,,,,ill NEVER EVER run Spec clutches again. Thing didnt hold power after 2 runs but wasnt drastic slip and on 3rd run blew up. Not worth ****. Ive had clutches on their ways out, they just spin on the flywheel but doesnt disentigrate at 7500 RPM
