best combination pulley

hi all,

I have been searching for a while, but i get a bit lost after that.

I am thinking of getting some safe/reliable power, therefore i am thinking of getting some pulleys, but i am not sure what combination i should go.

1) should i get just the supervharger pulley?
2) should i get the overdriven crank pulley too?
3) what percentage should i go for? 15%,17%,19/% and 2% or 3% for the overdriven carank pulley?
4) how much more labor if i do the overdriven crank pulley( because i am goin gto let a shop do it, so the labor will be somethin gto consider, i want to know if it's worthed.

Also, seems like there are different brands for the pulley, which brand is by far the best?

Just a Reminder, SAFE POWER is what i want, because it's my daily driver, adn i don't want to risk, i want a reliable car. also i am not planning to do, exhaust, intake and ecu upgrade.

Thanks in advance, sorrry for the long questions.
any input will be appriciated.

Safe Power/Dollar wise/daily street = just do a 15% pulley. You should be able to get the pulley and install for around 300.00 bucks. As to Brand - well I guess we all like what "we" purchased but they are all pretty much on par with one another. That being the case perhaps you should favor a local vendor who might be able to facilitate the install, perhaps a combo $$.

Listen to Bart - anything beyond just the 15% pulley will require more frequent belt changes (or failures), or risk your engine from induced vibration.

For additional "safe" and easily reversible mods, add the MTH ECU mods and a K&N filter panel in the stock airbox.

Answer:

15% pulley installed by Randy Webb at a "Pulley Party" He has done over 700 installs and warranties his products. For some informative reading check our the FAQ on the Webb Motorsports website "Why I recommend the 15% pulley" I have the Alta which has been around for a long time. I think Randy now has his own as well.

I say M7 16% pulley and a lightweight crank pulley [M7 or Alta 2%]. There has not been a single failure with lightweight crank pulleys on our engines. NOT 1 [and many cars have logged 10's of thousands of miles]. That's pretty safe in my book.
