Drivetrain Alta Lightweight Crank Pulley Install
Alta Lightweight Crank Pulley Install
I am a little concerned about attempting the lightweight crank pulley mod as a DIY without the BMW/MINI specific tools, and was curious as to what others have paid for a shop to perform the install. With the proper tools, how much time should it take a professional to do the job and what is a fair price? I received the Alta 2% for Christmas and would like to get it out of the box and on the car. Advice please!

good luck
Like BMDoubleU said the crank pulley is a quick install. It is much easier on a MCS then a MCSa due to space issues
.
It seemed pretty easy with the proper tools. Such as a crank pulley removal tool and Belt Tensioner tool.
