After making sure I sent off my hi-res pic for the NAM calendar, I've just emailed you a pic of today's final run. I'm still cleaning up the burnout pic.

oh belive me there's no intierior ...but the CF dash and and the Speedo are there to keep that thing that makes our minis so great looking and unique...well one of many anyway....but that's what's great....it's not SO over the top that it's unrealistic and radical that it lost it's mini-ness

I sure hope we do Tim, it must be very lonely in that 11sec club, I have a funny idea that as soon as/if we join you in the 11 sec club you'll be moving to the 10 sec club

I still haven't figured out how to loose 310lb in 9 weeks

You know, it was kind of a challenge to see what we could get without nos. And based on the elevation, we basically have a 10 sec car. For the '06 season, we'll be installing our new MAD MOD 5 head, FTR rods, Hyperslugs and Hubie's gonna lose 25 more lbs! Who needs 2 kidneys and a left nut anyway. That should get us down to the minimum weight for the class...

Massive ports, dude.... We're looking at making over 400hp per litre to the ground. You do the calculations...

Holy crap is an understatement....

Wait, on Sunday I noticed he got a haircut. Doesn't that get him down to an even 40?

Emm, does he have macroorchidism or renal hypertrophy? I don't see any other explanation . Anyways, he better get that fixed! 25 lbs is serious potential! Tell him, though, that he should really try medical intervention before anything surgical . His wife might like his orchids .

note: find the definition of orchid .

Its a stock head with some incredible machining. When I post the #'s nobody will believe it.

The dyno operator was blown away that the only change from the baseline pull was the head.

Don't worry, I'm not in the business of publically questioning vendors without proof .

Brian,

Was it the Mad Mod 5 head or a more toned-down version? There's a rumor that the valve springs are made of unobtanium --- please verify. Will the final product come with a nifty FTR decal? Thanks....

They are made partly from unobtainium But they will be available soon, special valves, springs & retainers.

I dont think they are the ones you are refering to, but they are sweet ! The one you are thinking will be reserved for the race program
As for the decal anything is possible

are you revving the car so high as to need better valve control?

Right now the car has a stock head, springs, valves and cam. We are reving it to the limits of the stock parts which is pretty high

I guess I shoul have just said yep we need better valve control at the rpms we are running.

Can we expect to see any details as to what has actually been done to this car to get it to the point that its at now?

Also, i was wondering how the axles are holding up to the slicks. I always bring an extra set with me when i go to the strip with my 20v rabbit.

<rofl> Oh man, that was the funniest thing I've read on NAM in quite awhile. Great job guys!!! I've used the super-valuable color ink on our printer to print pics of your car from CarDomain.com. (Note: wife says I can't use up all the ink printing cool Mini Cooper pics.) Where can we get a splitter like the one on the drag car?
