2006 mini mods

just picked up my 2006 mcs and am interested in what mods may be available. I am interested in ecu reflash and intake and exhaust mods. I am new to the forum and would welcome advice. Thanks

Welcome to NAM!

So you know the area called "Performance Mods :: Cooper" Is for the MC (MINI Cooper). The other area called "Performance :: Drivetrain" is for the MCS. Confusing isn't it? The second one needs Cooper S on the title instead of just the describtion.

Robert,
Welcome to NAM. First of all, do you plan on Auto Crossing your MCS? If so hold off doing any mods until you get a rule book and figure out what class you are going to run. The wrong mod can put you in a class you don't want to be in.
An ECU flash will put you in Street Prepared, intake in STX.

If you don't plan on racing you car you are missing out but that is your decision.

As far as what is best I really can't make any recommendations. Try reading the forums these topics have been covered many times. If you can't find anything try the search function.

What about if you have an ECU flash that you can switch back to stock in less than 10 minutes?
