Were any fitment changes made with the new '05 supercharger? I need to put a new one on my '04, and can only find '05 superchargers.

 

i think they fit the same. i know the charger in john cooper works kit for an 05 fits an 04. so i think the chargers fit exactly the same.

 

they are exactly the same... an 02 supercharger has been swapped to an 05 supercharger with no problems

 

The fitting is exactly the same. In fact, you should put an 05 s/c on your 04 car because the 05 s/c's are better. They have different coated blades, and may even generate more power.

 

sorry... i meant to say that yes while they are differnt they do have a differnt coating on the blades but the overall fitment and instalation will be straight forword and will be exactly the same...


by the way... no noticble power gains... but... its still very nice to have!
