Got A New Car!!

Not really, but it sure feels like it!!!

Just got through installing the Alta 19% pulley and all I can say is WOW! I don't know why I let the pulley sit on the desk for the last 6 months. The install wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.

I followed Randy's pulley swap how-to, except that since I got the deluxe pulley from outmotoring.com I didn't have to remove the tensioner, which saved a lot of time and I didn't have to jack the motor quite as high as the how-to.

Those photos are so clear they look as though they came from a DIY book. Congratulations on being able to install it yourself. How did you decide on 19% instead of 15%?

LOL...those photos were pulled from the outmotoring website.

I was advised by a MINI mechanic that I wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than 19%. And I always want the most performance for the buck...and since the pullies cost the same...
