Almost took a beating from a Scion tC...
I didn't have the room to really stretch the power, but I was really surprised by how well this thing stuck to my butt up to about 100mph afterwhich we parted ways.
Scion tC - 160bhp and 3,000 lbs
2005 JCW 210bhp and 2,563 lbs - a very light fuel load too...
80 degrees, 100% humidity didn't help. Anyone else ever feel that at very light fuel loads the car runs a bit sluggish? Almost like the fuel pressure is off.

Scion kept up with your JCW? My friend has a TC with a manual and I told him when he is ready I want to drag him and see how the cars are side by side. At a drag stripe of course. So its interesting to see how your performed.

There is a supercharger package available for the tC from TRD. Perhaps he wasn't stock? The package reportedly bumps the tC up to 200bhp.
