turbo timer on mini cooper S

I was just wondering if I can install a Turbo timer on my 04 mini cooper S or if anyone has done this...

I do a lot of auto x and i think a good cool off period is needed using the factory supercharger and intercooler.

thanks

Not needed. The supercharger stops spinning when the engine stops, unlike a turbo spool which continues to spin.

Plus, the supercharger has it's own oil reservoir whereas turbos are normally oiled through the engine oiling system.

There are other reasons as well, but no, it's not necessary as there's no real benefit to it.

Yes, you certainly can.

I don't know of any reason to do so though.
