Adam, have a 15% V2 and in a box a 0% crank Alta of course is this combo ok would any gains be had by adding the 0% or should I just put it up for sale ?

Have a GREAT balance to your weekend!

Thanks for asking! You just need to decide what you want to do. The 0% is a GREAT pulley, removes weight from the rotating assembly and removes the known failure problem of the OEM pulley.

It doesn't add any more boost though, which the 2% does. So it is certainly worth installing, but if you want more boost, trade up to the 2% version.

Hope that all makes sense! Let me know how I can help in anyway further!

I am considering purchasing a used AccessPort, and I know that the AP can be unmarried from cars in order to be used on other cars. My question is regarding support and maps for these resold APs. Will Alta still fully support the device and provide maps to its new owner?

The AccessPORT comes preloaded with just about every map you're ever going to need, and you can get these online by doing an update. But if you need for something custom and purchased the AccessPORT used, we will have to charge you for it.

I see, I wasn't sure about the updating process, and I completely understand and agree with charging for custom maps.

Is the Forge BPV a tunable mod, i.e. could a map be made that would take into the account the presence of the Forge BPV? If so, does this map already exist?

I tried looking for a list of maps, or mods that a map could take advantage of, but no luck so far.

Thanks for the quick response, Chris!

The BOV isn't something that can really be tuned for. To get the best performance out of it, plug the OEM bov, and use just the Forge part.

We have a list of the maps we have here: http://www.altaperformance.com/pages/show/155

We also have stage 1 FMIC maps preloaded on the AccessPORT, which aren't on that page.
