Do you have and data that could compare this manifold to the Webb Motorsports manifold?

was not sure.
Everything together would be worth it IMO. I would not want anything coated though, just ported.

$285. for all that seems almost to good to be true. I want it.

Yes, The prices coated include all items. I do not have any data between our unit, and Webb Motorsports. I just know that DPR has consistantly been on the top of every thing that he has done for us, and this is no exception.

I am trying to get all the data and testing, but must do some thing prior to installing. I also need to test the new injectors I have as well. lots of things, not enought time.. now with 12+ of snow coming... who knows when I can get some data. I want a day above freezing before doing any temp logging.

Core returns will be mandatory on these items though.

Dan,
do you dyno @ Helix with Eric? i'm sure certain people on NAM would love to know Helix was involved with this project in some way and they can also get Eric's opinion then on the products as well if he would be so gracious to do so.

It's possible they haven't dyno'd yet because last I heard they were having problems with the calibration of their dyno......maybe Helix can chime in and let us know the status? thanks in advance

I have found a local dyno shop that runs an AWD Mustang Dynometer that I will be running my testing on. It is just no effective for to run down to Helix (2-3 hour drive) for dyno runs on multiple days for this type of testing that I want.

here's a suggestion:

dyno your car in its present config at Helix. then dyno it same config on your local dyno. then we can compare your local dyno to Helix' results

then change out parts and dyno locally.

The more retained heat in the exhaust the better..

If you read between the lines in one of the above quotes, one of the turbo tuners doesn't coat the header to protect the TURBO!

Stainless is nice, but no matter how "fast" the gas gets out of the pipe, if it's hot on the inside, it gets hot on the outside.... So coating the headers is still the way to go.

Interesting about the intakes.... There are lots of EFI manifold adaptors that are sold as "thermal isolators" and do work. But insulating the gas path after a compressor is counter-intuitive, to say the least!

Matt

Hay JLM, what's the third bung for? Data logging with a wide band?

MiniPilo, would you consider some sort of group buy price for NAM members (for a limited time) once you open sales? It might provide an early jump to sales, and give us a little break on price as well.

Anxiously awaiting your test results!

We can look into it. Though this item can not be mas produced as it requires stock parts to be modified. We plan to have several kits ready to go when we are done, but again, not group buy quantities.
