Broken plastic M6 mounting bracket on Cylinder Head

While installing my AEM Intake I overtorqued one of the screws that affixes the turbo heat shield to the mounting point on the cylinder head, much to my surprise it was plastic! the other one is seemingly fine and the heat shield is in place but obviously it moves a bit here and there

Would I really have to replace the entire cylinder head or can any of y'all think of any shoptricks? If not I'll just keep it in place till I decide to go big turbo or something and then evaluate if it's even needed

Where the AEM heat shield mounts to the engine should be aluminum...

Reference Step aa on page 11 here:

If those are the bolts you are referring to, those threaded tabs are part of the head.

Did you strip the hole, or break the bolt? If the hole is stripped, you could drill it out and install a Helicoil insert.

Just have to match the coil insert to the bolt, and follow the insert instructions.

Ouch! If I were in your position, I would get a Forge turbo wrap for heat management, and reinstall the factory coil cover.

yeah debating it, like the way the shield looks but can’t really trust it to stay put I guess

I really don’t want to disassemble the turbo components just to install the wrap and it is the winter so I think I can safely wait till it warms up a bit and then do the hot side pipe and Downpipe and intercooler at the same time, I mean...if the bumpers already off right?

Though the amount of parts sitting in my hatch is driving me crazy...
