Are 5992’s cold enough?

Hi,

I drive a BMW 120i F20 LCI with the N13 engine. (N13 is the longitudinally mounted version of the N18)

Mods are: drop in filter, dump valve, downpipe and full exhaust, Wagner Intercooler, and NGK 5992’s. It makes around 230hp/330Nm on the dyno.

My question is have I done a right choice by going with NGK 5992/95770’s? (Oem Plugs found in N18 JCW - heat range 7.)

Should I have gone for one range colder?

Many thanks.

From what I've read, every 75HP increase over OEM should have one more step colder plug. You probably want a few more HP before you need heat range 8 plugs.
