Had my software done today, car definitely feel quicker, more torque, new rev limited is 7300rpm and automatically removed top speed limiter. Long story short, I took it out for a spin and put 80 hard miles, car feel smooth till I got home the JCW charger making some weird loud noise before I shut off the car, so I turned the back and shut it off again, still making weird noise before I shut it down. Does anyone know what kinda problem Im getting, is it the software or I drove it too hard? Should I bring it back to the dealership? Please give me some advice.

 

Outside of being "wierd", does the noise have any notable characteristics?

Is it a type of moaning sound? Your PCV valve/hose, a hose/valve located just north west of the intercooler, could be the problem. Try locating it and squeezing the hose. If it is squishy that is your problem right there. Your valve could be a problem as well so take it in to service and tell your service advisor you get a moaning sound on shutdown and you think the PCV valve or hose is the culprit.
