So what are you attempting to do - replace the filter and hose on the BMP with that of the Alta? I am considering doing the same thing but with a Dinan due to the superior filtering capacity of the foam Alta filter.

 

The issue is the size of the stock intake tube and the size of the Alta tube. The filter definitely won't fit - it's too big, as the BMP angles down.

The stock tube is 65mm at the neck - 60mm through the hose. The Alta is 68mm. What that means is that you have to take up the slack with a hose clamp - 3mm. It can be done.

I have all three colors in stock...
