Drivetrain Single mass flywheel conversions
Single mass flywheel conversions
I've come across 4-5 different flywheel conversions. Have read plenty about people liking the valeo kit. But not much on the others. There all about the same ish price. Except for the brute power one, which is less then half of the others.
Now I bought my S for really cheap as a project. Should I try the brute power kit, to see how it is? Unless someone else has tried it and has info.

I used the Valeo kit on a 6 speed conversion for an R50 several years ago.
About a pound lighter than the DMF but still pretty heavy.
Slightly lighter feel to the pedal but very easy to use on the street.
Other people's experiences suggest good durability compared to the stock DMF which sometimes goes into Chewbacca mode,
and holding up to the power of stock or mild to moderately modified S-type MINIs well.
