I think Mini cooper should be 130HP and Cooer S should be 220HP. For JCW should be 50HP more for each models.

What do you think?

I think overall the hp numbers that the cars have now are acceptable. You can only have so much power in a front wheel drive car with out getting massive front tires. BUT MINI should definately come out with a high-performance MINI (I am not talking about a JCW) similar to how BMW has their M-series. Completely revised car, suspension, new engine, transmission and of course price tag . And make is AWD! Put about 300Hp and I would easily buy it. Good price for that would be in the mid 30's i think. Just a thought....

220hp sounds tasty, especially if that were whp! If I had that much, I think I would be in jail or perhaps...dead. They are plenty fast and fun for the street. If we were talking track, it would be different. Much more power than that and I think wheel spin would be a big issue.

It will be in 2005....but how much can it hp can the Aisen handle? Did I mention that the SRT-4 has a standard quaife installed?

I guess it depends on the price...for the current price about 200 plus..but if it's priced liked an STI or EVO it better have the same hp as the competitors.

the 130 for the cooper sounds about right, but i think for the S, like 200-210 would be nice

Aisen makes the auto transmission for the new 05 MCS beginning in 1/05.
The LSD is made by another manufacturer. (not Quaife)

Current MC is at 115 HP which is OK and can be improved to about 130+ HP with good results. However as you increase HP you have to be concerned about the wear on other mechanicals from the engine to the drivetrain/transmission, etc.

In a future MC, if there can be HP in the 140 range without adding too much weight and after beefing up weak links then that would be good. Oh, and don't raise the price more than $800-900.

Future MCS power could be up to 200-220 HP easy. Probably with a different engine and a bigger price tag.

An M series MINI. Call it M/MINI
Nice. Starts from $33,000.

Actually, it's GKN that will make the LSD. I kept thinking AISIN for some reason.
