R52 Ebay exhaust system: $230???

Has anyone ever tried this system for their R52 (or gen-1) car?
It's about 1/4 the price of the other ones I've been, wondering if it fits
and how it sounds... Is it worth a try to save $600+?

The R53 pipe system will not fit on a R52 as there is a brace strut just below the gas tanks that require the pipe to be flattened.

You get what you pay for we've seen them on a couple cars and they fit like total crap and rattle/leak all the time.

I had an E-bay special on my R53 that I bought from a service guy out of Fort Bragg. He had welded a resonator in the line and I go more complements on the sound of that thing. Yes the welds were not pretty, but I do not lay on my back looking at muffler welds so it did not matter to me. I also had to grind the tips so that they slanted together. Put over 35,000 miles on and no issues.
