R53 RMW250 cam

So I did a cam install on my r53 along with some jcw 380 injectors. My car seems to be making less vacuum, at idle and really hesitates off idle, no codes and no vacuum leaks, car was fine before install making ~21hg daily at idle....any help appreciated.

Edit: car has 15% pulley, intake, catless header and manzo catback.

With a more aggressive cam with more overlap I would think it is consistent there would be lower vacuum at low RPM. More overlap so less suction until higher RPM before boost. Rough idle typically goes with the territory.

Most Cams require a tune, most of that tune is actually for idle and daily driving issues, the Mini ECU actually does a better job of self adjusting WOT than DD.
And yes, vacuum and boost changes can be par for the course, it just depends on the cam.

I have the Dominator cam, with 450's and when the engine is cold have to watch it or the car will stall. Once it heats up, no problems at all. With what you have now, would think a tune would not only address the rough idle but also give you a better power curve.

Another thing to double check are the hose clamps at the BPV. I did a pressure test on my system after the mod work and was getting some good leakage at the BPV. I removed the euro clamps and put some worm drive clamps on.
