Intake Tube Replacement. CAI Worth it?

Ok Miniacs, I have an engine mod question for you.

I have a 2012 Roadster S and need to replace the air intake tube between the Filter housing and the turbo inlet, it is cracked.

Now would be a great time for me to put one of the numerous "cold air intake" or "high flow" intake filter systems on my car.

My question to any of the Motorheads out there is, are the cold air intake or high flow intake filter systems worth the money for a daily driver?

I look forward to your insightful comments.

Keep on Motoring!

Honestly intakes on that car aren't worth it. Save your money for an intercooler as that will be real gains. We do have some aftermarket hoses that will fit, or you can just stick with the stock hose.

Welcome to NAM. Going to move this to the Gen2 Mod area.

There is an immense amount of information here on the Gen2 Mini between the threads, the members and the vendors.

Thanks for getting involved and how about some pictures?
