Will supercharger pulley fit '05?

I want to get a 19% pulley for my '05 MCS. Is there a difference in the sizes of the supercharger? Will a pulley for an '04 fit an '05?

it is my understanding that the eaton supercharger continues to be the one common to all MCS's to date. That being said, pullies for one year will fit all.One thing to consider with an 05,most dealers so far have voided warrentees for "modded" cars. You may not care, just my .02

The pulley upgrade should fit your '05 MCS. You can confirm that with the vendor where you purchase the pulley from. I'd suggest asking Helix13 because they have probably already done it on an '05.

On the other hand with the '05 you have more HP already with lower gearing so you may already be in pretty good shape to leave things stock at least through the break in period. The reason for doing so is that once you do the pulley mod you accept responsibility for anything going wrong with your supercharger and if there is anything defective with your MCS you want to let the warranty cover the repair while you break things in.

There is never really any rush to do mods on a new MINI and the penalty for something going bad is pretty hefty should it occur after you mod that failed part. Just something to consider. Those '05 MCS are new and improved over the '03.

I appreciate everyone telling me the consequences of my actions, but there will not be any warranty left to void after a few months anyways. I have a few too many plans in my head. You'll see soon.

Same blower - same pulley will work, no problem!
