Ford Synthetic MTF.

Has anyone used it? Since the transaxle is the same on the R53 AND Focus SVT.

Its popular in the Miata world and was wondering if anyone uses it.

I currently use Redline MTF which is okay but I wanna see if I can do better. If that's even possible.

Thanks.

I have not used it in my Mini, but it is GL-4 spec.

If I was still a tech at Ford, I would use it for sure. But I use Redline MTL, because of the cost that I get it at.

The reason I asked is because in my Miata when I used redline it was okay, but when I used the ford fluid, it was better, smoother shifts and such. I know they are two completly different cars and it's a stupid reason to ask buy hey...I was curious if anyone used it.

It's about 50% thicker than oem MTF-94 or Redline MTL.
Maybe not the best if you have very cold winters, but otherwise should be useable.
