hello, The forge uprated DV valve in that model is not a Blow off valve , so you will not get that big blow off noise, you will get a different noise with the open intake a bit ( not near as loud) . Do you have a clip ?

Hi,
Can you help me with one issue on fmdvr60r?

I was following the instruction given from Forge to install this valve on my 2012 roadster S.

However, the instruction says to disconnect the wiring harness on stock DV, but it never mentions to reconnect the wiring harness to new solenoid module with harness adapter.

I assume that I must install this harness using the provided extension harness, but just wondering since it never mentions in the instruction.

Can you help me out?

Thanks.

You use that little wire harness and attach it to the old line that you pulled off ( unplugged) on the factory DV ( diverter valve) then plug the one end to the harness and the other end to the little module with the vacuum lines all coming out of it three different ways. They just used blue lines vs black (ones that come with it) to show the orientation. Its on the second and last picture of the install PDF included for the MINI one.

you are hearing normal blow off through the intake tube. (sounds like a subaru shifting)
do you have an aftermarket cold air intake?
if so the blow off is normal through even the stock recirculating valve. i have the K&N intake and nothing else (until it warms up more) and you still hear the swoooshhh sound when shifting or accelerating.
thats the turbo sucking and blowing off.
