Drivetrain Source factory for Nm engineering power module
Source factory for Nm engineering power module
thought the nm had switches like this tuning box. the more i dig into these boxes the more i think that 3 or 4 companys manufacture them and they are sold under many different labels.
The NM has a switch on the underside protected by a rubber cover. It says #1 is for 91 octane and #2 is for 100 octane. I spoke with one of the tech guys at NM Engineering before I bought mine and was told that it is perfectly fine to run it in position #2 on 93 octane as long as you're not doing long runs of WOT. He said their test vehicle has been set on #2 since about the second day it was installed. I was worried about running in #2 because the highest octane I can get without going to VIR (100 octane racing fuel) is 93-94.
