Hi I have a R56 n18 engine with Manictuning 2+ tune and bought the forge atmospheric bov,since I install it I have only seen problems first de valve adapter do not fit ,to be fitted you have to shave the plastic ,then when it was install it turn on the check engine light and the scan gave me this code P0030 = Diverter valve problems ,I uninstall the forge and install again the OEM and problem solve ,how has install this atmospheric BOV with success in the n18 engine ???!

 

It is understood that for the N18 engine an atmospheric BOV can commonly cause a CEL. Return it and get a refund if you can.

What you need is the Forge DV and not the BOV that vents to atmosphere, the problem with the BOV is the air being measured by the MAF is escaping and not going into the engine and the ECU sees this causing a CEL.
