Drivetrain How difficult is it to change out a shredded pulley belt?
How difficult is it to change out a shredded pulley belt?
Am a little concerned about the mention of pulley belts snapping or shredding at track/autox events recently.
How hard are they to replace? Does it require same kind of work as in changing the pulley? Can the average local repair shop make the change?
Is it dangerous to the car if you drive it once the belt snaps?
Thanks.

Not only do you need to know the path of that serpiginous belt, but you also need a "tension tool".

A pair of tiny hands would also be a great help.
I don't think the car will even run with a broken belt
as I think it also runs a bunch of other things.
