ULTRA short shifts for R53

This idea randomly came to me and I have been searching around to see if anyone has done this. (Nothing to be found) But I wanted to get your guys/girls opinion on the combination of the Cravenspeed short shifter in addition to the Helix adapter. Would the linkage even be long enough to reach that far? I would assume the heatshield would need serious modification or just cut a big hole in it. Not to mention you might have to delete your resonator but does this seem possible? I don't plan on doing any of this but it just seems to be a way to get crazy short shifts.

If you did that you would for sure hit the exhaust. But the bigger issue would be the stress put on the cable as it would be at too much angle and prob break. Also it wouldn't make shifting any faster as you would be cramming it in gear as the trans can't physically change gear that fast.
