Drivetrain Just bought an 06S. Needs more power :)
Hahaha. Trust me, I hear ya on the Mad Max bit...
While I agree that those who suggest specifically their parts are partially in it for the profit, though, the science is still there as to why it's needed. Even with a header, you have two significant bottlenecks that remain.
And I can't help but build on the above comment: It seems that RMW sold you quite literally everything they could within reason, and make no mistake, if they actually offered an exhaust and intake system....they would've recommended you buy it

I've been amateur road racing cars for a lot of years.... I only bought parts that I knew would make a significant impact on power. I've done a zillion different mods over the years. The injectors may or may not have been necessary, but for peace of mind I felt it was a good idea. The only reason I even considered the header is because it came with the high flow cat. The stock intake and stock exhaust are not small enough, and I'm not making so much power that it won't flow with what I'm doing. Whereas the cat, on most every car, is a great spot to make gains. Especially on FI vehicles. I cannot however live with a catless car. Tried it before, sounded like crap
