Forge intake on a 2013mcs?

Does the Forge intake for the R56 work on a 2013? I picked one up and just noticed the air box is a different configuration than what they gave pictured. On the 13 there is a censor (maf?) just before the air box which would require a different way to connect the new intake.

From my understanding that intake is for EU MINIs which do not have a MAF.

So it's not compatible with any MAF equipped cars...unless you can think of a clever way to get it to work perhaps???

Figured it out. Even though the MAF is bolted to the air box there is a small section of pipe inside the air box. The intake is able to slop right on.

They include the adapter for the non MAF cars but it works on both. The instructions they include are for non-MAF so that's where my confusion came from.

Nice, would you mind uploading some pictures of the intake installed?

It's a very nice piece....and not too many people run it.

Glad you got it all figured out!

Sounds good. I bet in looks pretty snazzy in the engine bay.

That's the intake a lot of minis run in EU during the Mini Challenge series.

Any cool noises with it? It looks fairly small!

The only real difference in noise that I noticed is you can hear the BOV when you get on it. It's pretty tame probably because its a closed system as opposed to an open filter.

Good choice with the closed system though.

Might get one for the heck of it if I can sell the Sprint Booster lol
