smoked r56 turbo replacement options

I have a 2009 r56 cooper s with around 70 000 Km. Automatic transmission.
Check engine light came on, half engine power light came on. Replaced vacuum controller and temperature pressure sensor switches because they were showing plausible on a diagnostic scan.

Noticed oil on top of the turbo by the feed line into the banjo bolt. When replacing the bolt noticed that it was full of crud, the entire oil line as well and that the turbo was jammed.

I have since then found out that this is a common N14 problem and have read that is partly due to the heat from the catalytic converter in close proximity to the oil feed line. I looked and this seems to be quite plausible.

My options are to replace the turbo with
rebuilt MCS
rebuilt JCW
rebuilt Hybrid k03/k04

going rebuilt route for price constraint reasons.
Found these guys
http://www.jmturbocoopers.com/JMTC-Turbos-07---13.html
who basically said the same thing about the catalytic converter.

What I am going to do is to remove the cat via a cat delete.
I am wondering if I replace with the JCW / or the hybrid turbo if it would function reliably on an otherwise stock MCS with no tune and no other modifications other than the cat delete. And would there be any noticeable power difference. Also keep in mind will be running on 90 octane Gas only. (Jamaica)
Has anyone out there done this?

Gpopshop rebuilds turbos. Honestly unless you race or drive super aggressive I would just stick with the same size turbo you have now.

I have to replace my recirc valve torn diaphragm apparently it is a problem with stock. So I can't give an accurate opinion. Thus far I have had 2 instances of half power light coming on when driving hard up hill which may be due to the turbo or being catless, not sure which.
I replaced the oil feed line with steel braided hose using the standard banjo bolt. I am noticing a lot of smoke in the exhaust on idling which I believe to be blowby from xs oil supply. I am installing a restrictor into the line tomorrow along with an alta recirc valve which I just got. I will update after.
I am noticing a lot more power especially in the higher rev ranges. It's a pity but also problably protective that my car shifts automatically just before redline ( auto) would love to know if there is a way to change shift points. I am also noticing that power seems to come on just a shade later than before about 2-2500 rpm. Milage is horrible now but that could just be due to the fact that I am driving harder.
