well surfing the net i came across this head for the mini and want to know what its about havent seen this before!!!

You've seen the throttle bodies on a BMW V8, right? One throttle body per cylinder. That looks really fast.

How about an internet link to what you are talking about.

It kind of looks like a head with no intake, and something to fake out the mass-airflow sensor (MAF)

Silly Trippy, the MINI engines don't have a MAF. Them's individual throttle bodies for a N/A MINI:

ITB's enhance throttle response and give each cylinder its own pretty little velocity stack to allow Mother Nature to cram as much air in as possible.
