i have had my accesport running a stage 1 tune for about a full year and 20k miles now and i absolutely love it. The only problem is i know there is a lot more left in it if i were to be able to protune it on a dyno. The problem is im near boston and Performance Auto Solutions is the closest "certified" place which is all the way in new york!! i have had many friends have there subarus(sti's wrx's) tuned at BrenTuning in worcester MA and have heard many incredible things. My friends 05 jcw with just a drop in filter made about 230 hp to the front wheels with one of their tunes. Long story short, thye can tune Accesport but not for Mini's, ive asked a couple times now why not and he just says he doesnt have enough of a demand to cover the purchase cost of hte mini AP software he needs. He then told me to try and get a couple minis together with accesports who wanted a top of the line pro tune and if i could get enough interest he will purchase the software needed we can do a little mini dyno day and we can have a local certified mini accesport tuner here in New england. check out there website and youtube videos, bren is a great guy who takes pride in his work and is a very respected tuner with very safe reliable tunes!

Contact Greasy's Garage in Worcester. They do all kinds of Mini mods. They are experts and the Mini is their specialty.

both greasy's and Bren tuning CAN tune our n14 turbo mini by remapping the actual ecu with software BUT they cannot make custom maps on the accessport for mini's, they must have some other software they use for remapping but i already bought the accessport and like having the ability to datalog clear codes and switch maps on the fly and really want a tuner who can make maps on the accesports for us minis, they can do suby's mazdas and even BMW's but not mini's :(

I see EFI logistics in connecticut is now the closest to me here in the boston area but thats still over 3 hours, i was just trying to get a group of enough cars to be worth BrenTunings time to purchase the mini accessport software. It would be nice to have a place within a half hour instead of having to make a whole day event and 6+ hours of driving both ways combined. If anyone would be interested who lives in the massachusetts, rhode island, and new hampshire area ( and even vermont and maine) we can try to set up a day for us with great rates and then permanently have an authorized and reputable dealer close to home.

 

BTW anyone ever try out EFI logistics ? i think they must of been more recently added to the list of Mini tuners
