So i kinda went off the track backwards into the tire wall... I noticed the exhaust was slightly noisy and went under the car there was a leak at the v-band so i replaced it not even thinking. It still leaks so i took a look at it and my risk racing downpipe his a small bend in the lip. I tried hitting it but i wouldn't bend back. Does anyone know if it can be just welded to the exhaust? It is black i think ceramic coated not sure if that will weld?
You can weld it but it will probably crack the weld. Take it to an exhaust shop and see if they can bend it back. If not, just have the exhaust shop make you one and then go have it ceramic coated again.
Dboard, I have a tendency to replace parts especially for the track. Just don't know how the repaired part will hold out and you don't want problems when you are there at the track.
It's holding just fine just annoying because of the slight bend other people say they cent gear it over the exhaust its just annoys me lol i try and have a shop bend it if they can't ill live with it i dont need spend the money on another dp i need koni yellows more lol
