Drivetrain What would you pay for a good header for this car?
Sounds Good Guy's We are working on a couple diffrent avenues, and th numbers you have stated are pretty much what I have though. Thanks for the feed back, an I will see that I can do

here's some data from brian garfield and dave payne that includes the mini mania header

i would only buy a header if it was tuned to give additional midrange power. if you designed and sold one tuned like that, it would be unique, different from the others.
i'd only be willing to pay $300 to $400 for 6 to 8 midrange hp

If you add up a few elements that seem desirable, not much of the $500 goal is going to be left for the actual header construction:
ceramic coating: $150 (I got mine done by HTC; their premium high temp for $200)
Metallic Cat: $200; (My ATC cost $250)
Pilo margin: $100? (20% of retail is actually very little margin)
balance:$50; this will get you a flange and some tubing
