Anyone have any experience with RDI products?

I've been getting the itch to mod my car ('05 R53 MCS).

I do not, however, want to acknowledge the ridiculous prices for some of the parts for Minis. We really get raped compared to the Mustang/Camaro/240SX/Civic crowd.

I found these, just wanted to know if anyone else has used them or has them on their vehicles:

Exhaust:

Header:

I am looking more at the header, as I can just one-ball the exhaust.

Also planning to pair this with an intake and 15% pulley.

Please let me know. If you know of something better, please feel free to chime in.

theres a reason for the prices. our cars are engineered properly from the factory and it takes actual R&D to beat out the stock parts. the other cars you mentioned make power in odd places and sometimes not at all, they do not require much thought to improve on the designs dictated by manufacturing ease and cost (in the case of the 240 especially since it's motor was taken from a truck).

the header especially needs to have a 4-1 collector that is streamlined in a better way than the stock. it also appears the o2 sensor cable might need to be extended to make it fit.

The cat back will be fine...who knows what it sounds like though. Also might not last long depending on quality.

I'd skip that header...you do not want a poorly designed and constructed header.

If you insist on getting a cheap header, go with an OBX. I had one on my first R53 and had decent results for how cheap it was...good midrange gains. Quality can be hit or miss with OBX also...but again, you get what you pay for.
